BACKGROUND:
This is the Third official image of the Wildcards series, "Ace Of Clubs". As with the others in this series, it was first inspired by a customized playing card image created for my brother for his birthday. I am very happy with the overall look of this image. The scan really does not do the image justice...to get a good clean scan I will have to tear the page from the book, which I do not feel like doing at this time. I still need to do some cleanup and color correction to get a print ready version of this image.
This image was created using Prang colored pencils with 3.5mm cores and a .05mm Technical Pencil. It was rendered on a medium tooth drawing surface, 8.5x11 inch, loose leaf paper. The entire piece took me about six hours to complete. I am planning many more of the series.
