The Anchorage, Part 3

Yes, I got the base too as soon as it came out but I really want the Puriri moth he made in vol 2 cos I asked for it. Ken rocks! How many other places can you make a request like that and get it?! Not many, if any. One more reason to love this place :)

I can empathize, though it usually only hits me in the Spring when flowers are blooming, because the pollen index is high. Then it hits me in the Fall when the leaves start falling off the trees.

Of course it can hit me any time of the year if I eat too much chocolate. ;)

Oh no...not chocolate that's just harsh. We've been having high pollen counts lately...they've mentioned it on the news a few times. I used to get hay fever really badly in Spring but the last 4 years I haven't had a problem with it, but the sinus has recently been bad.

My sinuses had been well behaved whilst I was at the other house...it's very new. One night back in my aunt's old wooden house with old carpets and lots and lots of knickknacks everywhere and I'm sniffling again. Damn those dust mites!

I'm with you Lorraine...I can't go visit a friend because she NEVER dusts...and I can't breathe...I dusted for her once...never again...I couldn't breathe for weeks and all the bites I got...yuk!
Must be the change in that air...my sinuses play up all the time now...

I find I'm not as allergic to my own dust mites on the boat. I asked my doctor once if it was possible that because the mites on my boat had nothing to eat but me I wasn't as allergic. He said he'd never heard of that but I'm positive it's true. Yet more incentive to live alone. As if I need it ;)

 a good reason not to dust...I dust but not as often as I should. It's the one thing I can't pay the kids to do. They hate it...

My girlfriend has a cross stitch that says 'this house is protected by killer dust bunnies' ;)

lol...I've seen poems about quilters who don't dust but instead lovingly spend their time making quilts for people they love. It seems to be a topic that inspires some people...to do other things that is!

Thanks everyone, it's nice to be understood :) Yes, Miss B, I'll be dancing and skipping and have a smile so wide my jaw will hurt!

Oh no Lorraine. I suffered from TMJ many years ago, and wouldn't wish that kind of pain on an enemy, let alone a friend.
