I follow all the superhero movies. I am a comic book fan going on 41 years. I don't miss any of them.

And that one is worth waiting for. Spiderman is back in the Marvel universe!

Oh yeah.... We left port for a job that got cancelled as soon as we left. Figures. So we are out here for nothing when I could be home with my family. Too bad. But it's the down side of this job.

That...just sucks! When do you get your extended break?

It sucks raw eggs.

But I get to go home around the 22nd or 23rd, so I only have couple weeks until I can be home and finally relax.

In modeling news, I started the Supergirl suit over. I am taking bits and pieces from all of her suits over the years and adding my own touches to it. I am doing the cape sim on my laptop while I am on here.

I will be putting up 3 total suits now. The original bodysuit, the Supergirl version of the bodysuit, and the new one (it has the skirt).

Now I need to stay in port with no distractions so I can stop breaking promises to get these uploaded...

Being unable to stay in port does suck but I think everyone here does understand life turning plans on their ears.

Yeah, the port we were supposed to go to got cancelled, so now we are in limbo.

It really sucks for some of the crew members here who were supposed to go home when we got to that next port. They bought tickets and everything. Now they have to eat the costs and hope they can get home from the next port. Whenever and wherever that one is...

It's sounding worse all the time! Those poor guys, they'll be spewing.

And don't you worry about not getting anything uploaded, no-one's going to be upset, when you get back home will be well soon enough.

Thank you for the kind words. I really feel sorry for those guys. They don't get reimbursed for that loss either. The government really sucks sometimes.

Your terms for employment would cause a strike down here! It's absolutely nothing to do with me yet I'm bloody angry on their behalf. So unfair. I hate not fair with a passion.

It's one of the things we have to accept if we are doing this job. Schedules are written in sand on the beach. We all know it. Sometimes your plans get washed away. That's why we always end up paying premium price for plane tickets. You can't plan 2 weeks in advance. More like 2 days...

On a happier note, glad you will be home with your family in a couple of weeks and you can forget all that and bask in the sunshine of their love...or do all the chores your wife has saved up for you...or both

Oh, no. They pay us quite well. I average $120,000 USD per year. But sometimes the money isn't worth it.

And there is no Honey Do list for me. I have domestic helpers and mama only wants me to relax when I am home, remember?

Yep!

Bask in the sunlight, $1 pedicures, massage twice per week, and 24 hour internet access. The good life, at least as far as I am concerned!
On top of that, the kids are out of school so I can take them to the zoo, the Philippines version of Sea World, and a couple of other amusement parks around the area. I will make the most of it.
