Nah. I keep a bit of a garden myself, even though we don't have much room for it. A good portion (something like 80%) of our fresh fruits and veggies in this house I either grew myself, or wild-harvested from the land around us. And we do canning every year as well. I've been trying to teach my girl how to do the canning also. She's taking to the gardening thing nicely, as well as the wild foraging/harvesting thing. Needs to know how to store what she grows or harvests!

Thanks, Seliah. That must be nice, to have a garden. My husband tried to plant one once, but the weeds took over. If I could get my wilderness patch cleaned up, I might give it a go. It's the dickens to try to get someone to cut a wee patch of timber though.

Hi Jan Glad to hear your little Dolly is still being Dolly. Talking about Rumba's, have you seen the videos of the sharkcat on a rumba? Side splitting entertainment.

Ha ha. I kept hoping the cat would NOT get his tail in the way of that thing. He was switching it like crazy. Those are cute animals on those videos. How she gets them to wear costumes though...Dolly rebels when I put on her harness, to strap her in the car. Yesterday, she got it half off then took off, with it dragging behind her and me chasing. She loves to ride, but hates that vest.

Hey Jan. I've had my nose in Photoshop lately, so haven't been here for a couple of hours, and now I have to play catch up.

Afternoon all...warm day here in Australia. Friday night and I have a 3 day weekend coming up! Yay!!!

Last year, my plants didn't like the soil, and we had very little harvest.

I had that problem this summer...despite watering them really well it was like the ground just didn't take in the water. It was really weird. I'm going to have to do some serious work on improving the soil before I plant anything else...got the worst tomato harvest I ever got and my capsicum plants are only just now gotten fruit on them.

Heads up for anyone into Baldur's Gate Beamdog has a new expansion pack for Baldurs Gate 1 being released on the 31st of March.

Morning, Lorraine. My sleep was sporadic, and I hope everyone else's was better. Dolly trotted back and forth to the door all night. She thinks she's supposed to be on sentry duty, sometimes. I could swear I smell pp, but I hope I don't. It may be time to call the carpet cleaner.

Good aftermorning! Though it be raining and blowing here so not so good. The ground needs the rain so I shall not complain. I'll be warm and dry inside watching the raindrops through the winda!

Jan, I slept for nearly 12 hours and my goodness, such dreams I had! Some were very sweet

Sounds like you were really tired and needed the rest. We could use some of that rain but it's not like you can send it to us.

Hey Terre I've been getting the tireds a lot which I put down to an increase in one of my meds and the ceasing of another. I'm pretty sure once I'm used to it I'll be more lively, then watch out world, I'm dangerous when lively!!
