In fact, once Son of Sam had his Vengeful spree here in this neighborhood decades ago, they closed the original Stadium, here and opened a new one in a different location and named it, for a while, after Arthur Ashe.

I live on the other side of the main Blvd. in the neighborhood, so not so directly as those who lived on the streets surrounding the Tennis Stadium.

Back then we also had pop star concerts from time to time, so yes, it was scary just knowing who could be walking next to you at any given time, especially since a good percentage of our commercial stores are around that area. There's only 2 or 3 commercial stores on this side, as everything else is either apartment buildings or private homes.
