Darth Vadar - physically played by David Prowse, and vocally played by James Earl Jones.

Yes, we didn't get to meet the guy who was physically portraying Darth until he was injured badly and lost his abilities. He was in an area with Luke Skywalker, so Luke finally got to meet his real father.
