Remember These???

I don't recognize her, or her name, and the song doesn't sound familiar.
She was very popular in the late 60s. She was at Woodstock. Very much a hippie girl. Back then she just went by Melanie. I guess she got married and took that last name. Seems she has two daughters and one son, at least.

I have to admit I didn't recognize her either, but I remember the song. Buthen when you mentioned the song Animal Crackers and said the name Melanie, I remembered.

I never made it up to Woodstock back then, so I doubt I've seen her perform anywhere, so didn't recognize her.

I only recognized her for her name and image, since I have two of her albums on vinyl. I was only 15 when they did Woodstock. And poor. No way I could have gone.

I hadn't gotten my first car yet, and my folks would never have let me use they're car for that long of a drive.

I did eventually get up in that area years later for a planned meeting of student leaders back when I was doing my second college degree in the early 1990's.
