You can find HiveWire 3D and Lisa's Botanicals products, as well as many of our Contributing Artists, at Renderosity. This thread lists where many are now selling their products. Renderosity is generously putting products which were purchased at HiveWire 3D and are now sold at their store into customer accounts by gifting them. This is not an overnight process so please be patient, if you have already emailed them about this. You know something interesting (to me) just happened. A thread about a much loved Poser centric website being gobbled up by a competing company has just gone from upset and uncertainty to fruit and pet stories (not belittling Glitterati's daughter's injury at all). Other places would have seen this subject go from bad to worse in record time, but not here. Who are you people and what planet are you form? :)

Oh, no. Something strange is happening to me. I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I don't know if I can stand the civility much longer.

Thanks, guys, for making me feel welcome. :)

Yes, the HiveWire Bees definitely know how to take lemons and make lemonade...with honey!

Sometimes it is so warm and friendly that threads go waaaaaaay off-topic. ;) Not a complaint, just an observation. Sometimes I have to look back at the thread title to see where I'm at :D

Heh, heh. Howdy, neighbors! :)

Now, if Clark could do a banana to go with that strawberry, I'd be tickled pink.

Yes Frogimus, you'll find this is a real community. We do get ourselves back on track eventually (or start a new thread if its getting WAY off topic for too long)

Yeah, if it goes way far off topic or goes there for too long, sometimes those posts will be split off into a separate thread (which is how we ended up with the thread on Postwork, I might add! LOL)

Yes, Alisa is good at separating out posts that make a good separate topic so we can keep focused, and still discuss in the offshoot thread what originally derailed a topic.

In this particular thread though, I don't see that happening because it ALL relates to how great this particular community is, and how happy we are to see it growing. :D

Laid back moderation? So many forums would have had Mods going nuts to get back on topic (and no, I don't mean any particular site, it's most of them).

Community is neighbors talking over the back fence, or at the kitchen table. Like this.

This is exactly my philosophy. We are here because we share a common interest, however, that interest is not ALL that we are. There are some places where staying on topic is respectful and appropriate and we should all be mindful of that, but here in The Meadow, not so much. :)

I really enjoy getting to know the people behind the art and yes, frogimus, that is definitely what makes a community!

I would also like to mention, I'm usually a forum lurker as I've never had much success in joining in at other sites. As anyone can see I'm quite active here, the Hive just feels like home. (how's that for warm and fuzzies :D)
