That was something that used to really annoy my daughter. She had got used to it in NZ and found the lack in Qld inexplicable. Me, I always sided with the farmers who no sooner got to see their cows in the light when daylight saving started and they were back to bringing them in in the dark. My dad was one of them and he hated it.

Hmm ... wonder if Tsuki has locked herself in the bedroom again. BRB!
She certainly had! The door doesn't latch so she'd pushed it open sometime in the wee hours of the morning. After I woke up I heard these tiny little meows since she was now trapped in the bedroom. The minute the door opens, she's attacking the bottom of the door. She thinks it's a GREAT toy!

She's been getting timeouts the last couple of days. She had three yesterday morning because she wouldn't stop attacking my feet and legs while I worked on the computer. Fortunately, she doesn't object to being zipped into her carrier. I gave her plenty of toys to play with too. But she just settled down and napped.
I've found that playing with her until she tires just isn't doing it! Sure, she gets tired. Until I sit back down at the computer and then she's there under my legs grabbing them.
I ordered this Ripple Rug today. Maybe that will help entertain her. She's soooo totally bored with all her toys!

That looks a great product! I'm going to tag my four-cats-in-a-house friend who will be interested too, I think.
I'm not sure...Lorraine. I think it's more that he has a cream that he puts on his feet and it's like catnip to her. She only does it right after he's put it on. She does like to play pounce when we're in bed and our feet are under the covers...my husband encourages her but she doesn't do it when they are uncovered. Mind you she did like to claw the furniture which she seems to do less of finally. Drove my husband crazy...first cat I ever had that did that but also my first truly inside cat. She only gets outside if she escapes...now that she's older (2 years) she has developed a routine and she spends a lot of time sleeping preferably on my dressing gown. She gets quite upset if it's somewhere she can't get it...
