Morning all and a wild and woolly morning it is. Windy, wobbly but no rain thus far. So glad I went ashore and got my groceries yesterday! Today will be spent chillaxing on the boat and doing some rendering. Nice!

But right now, COFFEE!

We had a dusting of snow last night but otherwise it's just cold.

Afternoon, or is that evening (checks the clock). It's warmed up quite a bit here, but it's been pouring rain most of the day. I did go to the store though, as it's only 1 block away.

Hey Miss B! We're expecting rain here too, just in time for Waitangi Day. Such a shame.

That's good, Terre. Here I am, down here, trying to keep cool! The wind is getting up but she's a warm one.

My gosh! It's now 2.33pm and I'm still in bed! I woke at 11am as usual, heard the rain on the deck, rolled over and went back to sleep. Seemed the sensible thing to do Now it's arvo and it's raining and blowing and I think I'll get up for coffee and then take myself back to bed for the rest of the day

I rarely get up before noon, but I rarely go back to bed.

Then again, on land all the time, I have more options of what to do with myself.

Hey Miss B, Terre

Yes, there's a limit to what I can do when it's pitching down, Miss B. Can't use the computer as I have a mast step leak directly over my desk chair, and using my DVD player uses too much battery on a day like this when the solar panel is not charging much. But there are always books, both digital and paper and I've decided to go with the latter this arvo and read an old Georgette Heyer, the Grand Sophy, my very favourite of her books.

Hmmmm, not familiar with that author Lorraine. I'll have to check her out.
