/grumble.

She's fed. She has water. She's had treats TWICE today already. We even snuggled for a good 15 minutes or more before she decided she'd had enough snuggling.

But she still sits beside me and pokes me with her claw.

So ... out comes the big guns.

Which is a few squirts of Weleda Citrus Deodorant spray on my pant legs. The deodorant is a bit on the spendy side, which is to be expected since it's made in Switzerland. But ... not only does it work great as a deodorant (and without all those harmful chemicals in most deodorants and antiperspirants), because of the citrus smell, it's a great cat deterrent.

She's now sitting at her balcony desk watching nothing.

Since she was a kitten, she lays down beside her water fountain to drink. But a couple days ago, I caught her laying down beside her scratching post and reaching up to scratch. I managed to be awake enough this morning to grab my phone and take a picture before she realized I was doing so.

Day five since I got home from my housesitting and I finally feel human again. I have been EXHAUSTED! But now I'm laxing in the sunshine not feeling like I need a nana nap.

One of our two supermarket chains, New World, have a thing each Spring where they encourage kids to get into gardening. They provide Little Gardens complete with pot, compressed soil, seeds and marker. As you can see, they're fun for big kids too ;)

You can really grow a watermelon in a small plant pot???? Some how I just can't picture that.

Looking at the pot I'm thinking when they get big enough you can plant them pot and all in the garden or a bigger pot?

Ohhh, very true. I guess at a certain size you can replant in the garden without a pot, and it'll take the transition well. I've just never seen a watermelon while it's growing, so it's hard for me to imagine it small . . . ever. ;)

Yes, Pen is correct Miss B, these are starter pots and once the seedlings have some roots and leaves they'll be potted up into larger pots. The watermelon and cucumber plants will be going ashore as they need quite a lot of room to grow. The rest will be boat plants :)
