Kids are definitely strange! We're sat watching 'Matilda' on DVD and Lucy has just jumped up and announced that she wanted to go wee. Mom told her that she'd pause the DVD. Lucy thought for a second before replying, "OK! But you might have to wait a while 'cause I might need to do a poo as well!" Exit Lucy toilet bound. We await her return with baited breath!

Oh Pen, that's awful! I hope both he and you are feeling a lot better.

I'm not feeling as tired now I've had chance to rest. It's been a horrible week, including also getting a tooth out that had broken and being put on the waiting list finally for the Botux injection my poor bladder needs.
My Grandson is a little champ and seems to be doing well. His mum texted me to say that his condition was most likely there all along and developed as he got older but I'm not sure from what she texted if that was something the doctors had actually told her or just her belief.

Hey dere and here I am two days in a row!! I'm still laying in bed, listening to the wind blowing outside and wondering if I should give myself a duvet day. Tempting

My HDD spat the dummy a few weeks back and I've been researching replacements. My puter has an mSata slot and the consensus between me and my boy is that an SSD for OS and programs is the best option. One it would be faster and two it would cope better with the on and off the boat I inflict upon it. So next week all going well I will be a happy camper once more and stop snarling at the abysmally slow laptop I am attempting to create with. And might I add, the abysmally slow laptop has 8x the ram of my first laptop, a graphics card and an i5 processor. Go figure

Yeah and to really rub it in when I took it into the shop to find out what had killed it the damn thing worked! Tried to tell me it was either cables or card not screen till I informed them that I hooked it to a second computer with different cables and card and it still didn't work. Then it was just uhsorrywecan'thelp answer

Of course, it helps that bedtime for me is 1 am (or later).

Gal, you are preaching to the choir on that one. I'm still rebuilding my runtime. Some things are impossible to replace like free bunny slippers from Chris Cox!

Is the saying 'life is what happens while you're making other plans'? If it's not it should be. Today my tablet decided it would push ALL OF THE BUTTONS and so I now have a new old one on its way and my boy will be putting his old Seagate 250G into my computer and that will be that till the next time I'm housesitting. This is a good thing because a/ I will HAVE a computer I can use and b/ I will stop screaming and swearing at the tablet as pages flick and random words get looked up in the middle of reading my book. I'm now copying and/or moving things off the old old tablet in preparation for the arrival of the new old. FUN!!!

I hope this is the end of computer woes for a bit.

We're now just three weeks form the upgrade at work and I'm looking forward to it eagerly. Between two of the previous owners I had to learn a new program three times and am waiting too see what capabilities this one will have. I'm hoping it will have a couple of abilities that RORC had which IMS doesn't. We'll see.
