What softwares could I use to remap HW animals to use each other's textures?

I want to be able to do a horse-colored big cat, or vice versa, etc with various of the animal figures. What software would I use to remap the UVs, is there something that has a process to do that without spending a lot of time in a paint program dragging map edges around manually?

Following because I'm interested.

Good thing is that the Big Dog, Big Cat and House Cat can already share textures, its just the horse/deer that is different.
