Poser file version number

Anyone know a way to persuade Poser to save files as an earlier version number, other than opining in an earlier version, ignoring the version number error, and re-saving?

I'm not talking about manually editing afterwards, I mean finding a way of not having to manually edit despite having a newer version of Poser, when wishing to save files that would be compatible with older versions of Poser except that they are saved with the version number of the software that saves them.
