Kristen Black's new cd

I guess this is the place I should post this since surprisingly it doesn't have much to do with my usual topics (Birds, 3D, Birds, Environmental issues... did I say Birds? lol).

My sister just released her third music CD...

"Can't Get Me Down" (available at CDBaby and iTunes).
I could go on about all the songs on it (there's some really good ones), but since I'm a proud brother I can't be too objective. Okay, if you are looking to sample some of the songs on the link; 3, 4, 6 through 9 are my favorites.

Thank to everyone for giving her CD a listen...

After talking with my sister a bit, I found there are quite a few notable musicians playing on her CD....

• Kenny Lee Lewis (Lead Guitar from the Steve Miller Band)
  
• Jeffrey Perkins (Drummer from the Paul Thorn Band)
• Bob Britt (Lead Guitar-- played with Dixie Chicks, Bob Dylan, Buddy Guy, John Fogerty, Johnny Cash, Lynard Skvnyrd, Paul Thorn and others)
• Etta Britt (vocals-- played with Dave Rowland & Sugar, the Four Tops, Bob Dylan, Wynonna Judd, John Fogerty and others)
  
• Michael Graham (Percussion and Sound Engineer for the Paul Thorn Band, Van Morrison, Etta James and others)

She did end up borrowing about half of Paul Thorn's Band... if you're unfamiliar with Paul Thorn, here's a good introduction and one of my favorite songs of his... "I Don't Like Half the Folks I Love"
