Basic question about Dawn and Dusk and "Morphs"

Hello all,

I am under the impression that Dawn and Dusk are the main figures in Hivewire and that if you want a different looking figure (say short or chubby) you use a "morph". Is this correct? Are there any other human figures apart from Dawn and Dusk?

Thank you.

Yes, that is correct about morphs - with any figure you use with Poser or DAZ Studio, morphs are how you get different looks for the body and head/face. People also create characters, where they include some morphs.

The other HiveWire Human is Baby Luna.

There are various morph packs available for each of our human figures.

There are other human figures sold at other stores (and ones that come with either Poser or DAZ Studio).

Morphs are easy to use and can make default figures look very different.

This is my character which I have named Caoimhe, pronounced Keeva, and is based on Dawn SE. All of the changes are done using morphs either from HiveWire 3D or other vendors. The skin material is also changed but the shape is all down to morphs. Although not that clear here the character is much smaller than Dawn SE at around five foot nothing. How much the morph changes depends on how you tune the dials. The exception are morphs that set up for complete characters where the one dial changes a number of areas in the figure but even here you can adjust the strength by setting the one dial between zero (no change) and one (maximum change), anything in-between will apply varying degrees of change.

All the changes shown here are the result of spinning dials......it can be great fun.

All of these people are Dawn and the last image besides Dawn is the young girl Diva which is a morph of Dawn and an older and young Dusk morph (thumbnails so click to view larger full images):
