The Anchorage, Part 3

Ain't that the truth Terre! I know the little'uns very impressed with the lady who runs the shop at the Festival Market and spends ages nattering with her when they meet. So much so that shes decided shes going to be a 'Goff' when she grows up! :)

Odd people are more interesting to deal with, :)

I must be the easiest person in the world to deal with then!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Good morning and yes I can say that! It is good and it is morning! I hope y'all are very impressed with the fact that I got up early to take advantage of the tide and turn the computer on, I know I am. I have been missing in action for a while nursing a low of lowish proportions and surfaced this week during the remnants of Cyclone Debbie. Which is odd. It was wet, it was windy, the boat leaked in THREE separate places, I had to bail my dinghy in the dark, my cockpit flooded and filled the bilge, and yet I floated up from whence I was and here I am. A-bloody-mazing, as we say down here. I have a lot of catching up to do and I'll try and do as much as I can before I must head off at 2pm.

Morecambe is as Morecambe is Lorraine, apart from the fact that we still can't reach the beach without walking halfway into town. The locals are trying to figure out why we now have a flight of concrete steps leading up from the kerb opposite the end of our road. Opinions vary between the council building an anti-seagull gun emplacement or given our governments keeness for spying on it's citizens a CIA/GCHQ observation post. I'm going to take a photograph of it tomorrow and hope I don't come back wearing a few bullet holes! Otherwise all is tickity-boo as we are want to say in the Shires! Big Hugs! o_O

Thanks, Terre :)

After a crap morning we have moved into a crap afternoon and are expecting a crap evening. The outlook: crap. The long range forecast: more crap. It isn't as cold today as the wind has moved round to the north. But yes, crap, followed by more crap, with crap on the horizon. I am floating hoever, and the water that does get in is minimal and just bloody annoying. Everytime I want to jump overboard I go look at the photos of Edgecumbe and it brings me back to reality.

BUT! I am back on my computer, having fun and producing renders. This is a very good thing. I might be peeving the neighbours off with the gennie but I have actually got to a point where I cares not. I've put up with dogs barking, kids yelling, outboards coming and going all the time and social activities unto the wee small hours. They can listen to my gennie.
