Sigh. Now it looks like my boy is getting sick again, talk about timing its his birthday today and he couldn't enjoy his dinner and there are school photos tomorrow that he might end up missing out on

Yeah me too. Meant to be having a party from him on Saturday. Funny thing is every time he goes to his dads he comes home sick

Your wellwishes seem to have done the trick, he's at school this morning and is feeling better. Still taking him to the Doc at lunch time though

Glad to hear he's feeling better.

Hope you feel better Pen!

I spent all day at work worrying that Tsuki was home unsupervised with the soft collar. Guess I didn't have to worry after all!

She'd escaped from it while I was at work.

Bet she was proud of that!

Meanwhile, SEPTA is on strike as of this morning, so no bus or subway service in Philadelphia. It took me almost a half hour longer than usual to get to work this morning, and an hour longer than usual to get home.

Now ... with us being able to telecommute ... why aren't we telecommuting while the strike lasts? Sure, we're only allowed to telecommute one day a week, but we're also supposed to provide our own means to commute to work. Yet ... during the strike, the city has made arrangements to run shuttles to get city employees, as well as our employees (since we have an strange relationship with the city), to work from pickup points and back to those pickup points. Sooo ... if an exception can be made for that, surely an exception can be made for telecommuting.

Too bad I can't come down with the flu for the rest of the week!
