The Anchorage, Part 3

Hey Terre! That's one of my sayings too, "good after-morning", peeps be bewildered and go "wha?"

Oh Satira, your kitty sounds cuter and cuter :)

Gidday, Pen :)

Got my sister staying with me for the weekend...today was shopping, high tea at Stamford Plaza, more shopping, street food in Ponsonby, back home for leftover high tea and coffee and a movie. :)

Was a great day, Sanbie, though I'm wondering if I'm not too old for so much mad social whirl ;)

Since it was afternoon where I am and morning where you are. Sounded like a good way to put things to me. :)
Sounds like a great visit.

It's a great greeting I think, Terre, covers a multitude of time zones :)

Sharon's visit continues later today with breakfast somewhere in Newmarket she says is the bizz. I'll need to go on a diet when she leaves...so much delish food :)

And now though it is a little early for me I am going to call it a day/night. I have a feeling I'm going to sleep very well. :inverted:

Sleep tight. :D

Our snow last night was just a light dusting. It'll melt off pretty quickly after the sun rises.

Greedy guts has a thing for milk. But after some research, I found that the milk I drink is actually ok to give her. Even though I'm not lactose intolerant, I buy Lactose Free milk because it tastes better ... especially when you drink 1%.

Greedy guts also thinks anything I eat is her food. Wait till I open the packet of tuna in a bit. Even though she's stuffed full right now, I'm sure she will insist she's not eaten a thing today.

She kept nibbling at her food this morning ... apparently, positive she hadn't yet eaten. I've been feeding her Acana Wild Prairie, but still had some of the Acana Pacifica left (I'd switched to the Acana Wild Prairie with Taeyn). The Pacifica is made from Pacific Hake, Pacific Herring, and Pacific Flounder, while the Wild Prairie is made from Chicken, Turkey, Nest-Laid Eggs, and Wild-Caught Perch. Needless to say, the Pacifica has a stronger smell than the Wild Prairie. Not unpleasant, just it's obvious there is fish in it. Anyway ... I grabbed one of my 4 ounce bowls and put some of the Pacifica kibble in it, along with warm water. You'd think she'd not been fed ever! She totally cleaned out that bowl, so I gave her a second serving. She's been SOOO content for a good hour. So ... guess I'll be using that little trick on her more often. I'd mix warm water in with dry kibble when Taeyn was being picky.

Ohhhhh, does Tsuki have a new nickname now?

I don't drink milk much any more, but if I decide I'm in the mood for dry cereal, instead of my usual muffin for breakfast, I also buy Lactaid, but prefer the 2%.

Absolutely. Tsuki is now called Greedy Guts.

Normal 1% milk is just too watery, but the lactose free milk isn't as watery and tastes more like 2% to me.

Oh I agree. That's why I get the Lactaid, but usually go with the Lactaid 2%, and to me it's pretty much like regular milk.
