Not doing anything right now with Dawn 2 as it's halted and not going to bother until we have a firm date for her release. It's getting to be a bit obnoxious waiting at this point. :(

FYI:

Cath is dealing with some health issues at the moment and the things she's been working on will not be part of the initial Dawn 2 release when it happens. As soon as she's cleared to do so, she will be back to work and move forward with the rest of the products for Dawn 2 .

I hope Cath gets back to full fitness in record time, nothing to do with Dawn 2 just for her sake and those close to her.

I'm so glad to see Dawn 2 is now live! Congratulations Chris and co! She looks incredible. I most definitely will take her on a test drive. But to be able to work my magic on Dawn 2, she needs a "petite" morph. Because like ... all my little ones are just that ... little.

So ... when will we get Dawn 3? So not serious about that. After all, we need Dusk 2. Maybe even Luna 2. And creature morphs for Dawn 2 ... and the list just goes on and on.

But none of that takes away from our ever so fabulous Dawn 2.

My initial experimentation in Poser with conforming Dawn clothing items is encouraging. In fact, the situation is similar to what I discovered conforming La Femme garments to La Femme 2. Counter-intuitively, do not copy joint zones from. Moving the hip forward a bit gets most clothing about right, and a little work with the Morph Brush, and you are good to go. With shoes and boots, do not copy joint zones from. Pose the foot and toes, and you again are close enough to make things right with the Morph Brush. To me, this makes Dawn 2.0 immediately useful.

We still need to get you your character that I marched Dawn 2 too. We have to make that work for you.

I was an early user of her to make my pose packs and found that I needed two Dawns in the scene, one without morphs and one with morphs to transfer to clothing. WHY? Well Dawn with morphs preloaded in Poser caused explosions, the work around was what I explained above and I did have to use the Transfer Joints script to get things even more settled. I'm glad they got all that fixed before her release.

Hey @Chris do you know if Dawn 2 will get some refits of her basics like the pants, tank and other bits from Dawn 1? All that's being sold at Rosity are all dynamic, it's not my go-to thing so while conformers can be a pita at times it would be nice to have bits like what I mentioned above available natively for her rather than having to convert as I'm sure there are allot of inexperienced users out there that may be interested in Dawn 2 but no nothing about converting clothing from previous generations!
