Remember These???

We were watching Murder, She Wrote on the Amazon FireStick, on FreeVee (formerly YouTube TV). Suddenly, they switched it to a pay channel. :( So far, that has happened to others, too. Perry Mason and others. It's driving me crazy (er).

Hmmm, FreeVee used to be IMDB tv on Roku and it's still free.

Right, I was mistaken, it was IMDB tv. Yes, it's still free. But the shows were switched to other streaming services, which aren't free. In the middle of a season, they were suddenly no longer available on FreeVee. Earlier episodes are still free, but we already saw those. Perry Mason was switched to, I think, CBS All Access, like the Star Trek shows.

I all caught up on Bosch: Legacy. Watched the whole first season. That, too, was switched from I think Netflix to FreeVee. At least it wasn't switched again.

If Perry was switched it was really recent. I didn't check, but I think he's still available on Roku, FreeVee. I did have CBS All Access at one time, but I saw all the Perry Mason and Star Trek, I'd wanted.

How did you like Bosch? I gave up on Netflix a long time ago, so haven't seen it, but I've read all the books, and was happy to see they got Titus Welliver to play the part of Bosch. It's so often when they don't cast the right actor on a TV series, or a movie, to play a character established in a good series of books.

The only things I saw on Netflix that I liked was Stranger Things and The Umbrella Academy. I had pretty much seen everything else elsewhere. I had to leave Netflix because for some reason it would just suddenly quit on me, even in the middle of something I was watching.

The original series was great. When it ended, I was sad. Then I saw the sequel show up. Legacy refers to what they call the child of a police officer who becomes an officer also. I guess you know who that is. Titus is still in it, he's no longer a policeman. So far, it's still great!

Perry Mason is still on FreeVee up to about season 5. Then, it switches to the pay service. I don't have Roku. I wouldn't have the FireStick if it weren't for my nephew.

Can't really remember if the original show was on Netflix or Prime Video.

Glad to hear it, as that was one of my favorite series of books. :)
