Forum's is up. I can start a thread on texturing using photoshop. Do we want one for clothing and one for characters? As they are quite different things...

That sounds like a good idea Pen, one for each. You might even consider doing one for props, as they get textured as well.

I used Gimp on my last laptop, because I still had my desktop back then, and it had Photoshop. This way I had a 2D graphics app on both. I liked Gimp, but I had been using Photoshop for so long, I felt more comfortable using it rather than Gimp.

why IS Gimp called Gimp, anyway? inquiring minds.... ;)

Gimp IS slang for a limp or person with a limp, down here we say we've got a 'gimpy' leg if it's sore and we're limping.
