When you get them, Pen, can you have a look and see if they would convert to 3dl ok?
This is how it renders in 3DL with the AoASubSurface Shader, converted without any tweaking, except I reduced opacity to 45 for the hair.
The eyes look quite okay I think, the hair will need some tweaking (the transition at the front).
For the eyes I think you would need to add a reflection map then too since there is no one for Iray needed.
