That's pretty cool.
A while ago, maybe in 2014, I saw a demo video of some hair modeling software... It's not the same as the Disney software, but I got the impression it was more adaptable to something like say Blender...
I can't find the original video (it was a very roundabout way that I found it)...
The original was a bit longer, had a narrative and links to technical pages... But I found this on YouTube... Which seems to be most of the video at least.

This would be pretty cool to have as a plugin for DAZ or Poser...
Maybe in a few years...

Yes, the forum adds a Media link instead of a plain text link by default. I think it can be edited, assuming you see it right away, as you would only have a certain amount of time to edit your posts.

I've come across this several times when adding links to various YouTube tutorials when adding them to my ongoing Blender list on the Blender forum.

I was surprised because it was automatic and other sites you usually have to do an additional step or know what you are doing to get this result.
It's nice.
