If I already have the cwrw textures for the wings for mil horse and I buy wings for harry, will those same textures work or do I need a new set of textures?

No they won't work "straight out of the box". The UV is similar but not the same. Also the old wings were just color maps- no bump or spec and only Firefly. I haven;t run an actual test but I can tomorrow to show the differences.

I do have several matching wings for Harry started, just gotta find time to get back on them:)

Really sorry! Um... again the mil horse textures will not work "straight out of the box" for the DH2 -again the UVs are different. Someone ( I forget who) made a conversion scheme for the DH2 from the old Mil Horse but I can't remember where the link is etc.

But I do have a suggestion! I did several renders of the DH2 with the Mil Horse wings (this is back before Harry) and just used them like a prop instead of a conforming figure on the DH2 which is a lot easier than you would think. - here is an example:

So forgot to add- you can do the same with Harry- just use the old wings as a prop with him. You might have to mess with the materials a little.

So just load the wings into the scene, not actually attached to the Harry, then drag them to parent to the chest or shoulders? How hard are they to pose after the horse is posed?
