Well, the Western Tack is already in the works, so I'll have to think about this.

It would be nice to have a good MR for harry.
Just the basics, a great bump map, Spec map and off-white solid coat so we could add parts and change the colors ourselves.
Please? :D

:yeahthat:

Maybe on the fantasy side... some nice armor for him as well. And a set of blinders maybe? And maybe a one, two, or four horse hitch setup that we could use to attach to drawn carriages or such? Those are my thoughts. :)

Here's a rough drawn/sketched example of a four horse hitch :

And here's a photograph of a four-horse hitch :

And a two-horse version :

Oh that would be an interesting concept.

Edited to Add: I thought there was one at DAZ, so I went and looked, and yes they have one, though I think theirs is a totally separate figure, and not a morph of the MilHorse.

Yep...it's a separate figure from memory! Definitely not in Harry's league!

This is just a quick 5 min play in Zbrush I haven't played with Harry before but couldn't resist seeing how it would go morphing his ears. That would probably be the extent of my abilities for this type of project. I wouldn't even know where to start with rigging a tail. I have a mermaid tail wip that is sitting there for that reason...

It would need more work...but then it was only a quick 5 min job just using the move brush. Last time I tried to morph Harry I had problems getting it to load as a morph but that was his mane. I've been distracted by how I could do the spikes on the back. The easiest way is to use mesh extraction but I don't think that would be allowed f0r distribution.

I would like some pose packs like CWRW did for the millenium horse several years ago. She knows how a horse moves and so her poses look very realistic and have a ton of energy.

I would also like someone to figure out how to make the mane pose more easily. I can pose Harry if I spend enough time at it, but that mane... I can never get it to look the way I want. I also would like a braided mane.

Also maybe some costumes like the Native Arabian Horse costumes or Native American Horse costumes you can see at horse shows. I should get to work on learning Blender and make some myself but I never seem to get around to it.

Brilliant
@Dragonsegg A lot of those look like Berber costumes, which would also be very welcome. North Africa isn't the first place a lot of people think of in association with horses, but the Berbers have a long tradition of excellent horsemanship.

I have Laurie's two pose packs, as well as yours Flint, but for some reason never saw the other 2 by Ensary and Don Albert, so thanks for those 2 links. :)

Maybe this is out there, but I have not seen it: a set of thick, winter coats for Harry. Furry ears and a full set of whiskers...Especially if Laurie does the colors. ( I mean fur, not blankets )
