Horse morphs influencing reins on my bridle

I am working on the hussar bridle and have discovered a strange problem. When morphing the different horse shapes the reins on the bridle get distorted. I have checked whether the neck or chest region has an influence on the reins but I can't see anything. So where does that influence come from and how can I get rid of it? Any ideas?

Is this DS or Poser? I think sometimes there is a "projection" effect in DS where it attempts to have the clothing--in this case the reins--fit any morph that is applied. You may have to make a custom morph to get rid of the distortion and name it the same as the morph that is causing the problem.

If it's DS, there is a simple workaround:

Go to the morph properties, either by clicking the small gear icon on the slider or by Edit Mode - bulk-select them and right click - Set - Properties.
Change the type from Modifier - Shape - Generated to Modifier - Shape. Hit OK.
Now, with the morphs still selected, again right click - Set - Min/Max limits and set really small limits, like 0.01.
Now the morphs shouldn't get dialed in when you morph the horse, and they will save with the item when you save it to the library.

The problem is that some of the changes are needed or the bride won't fit anymore. I cannot disable the morphs completely. Looks like I will have to return the reins to their original shape by hand as and create 'antimorphs' for them as 3wComics suggested.

Ah yes, if you need corrections to kick in you'll need to fix each one manually.

You are AWESOME! (and so are your products)
