Yes. I'm getting a not secure connection today too.

Login page is secure, and you can force each store page to be secure by typing https://, but the next page is then not secure again.

When you're logged in it should be a secure connection.

We will look and make sure everything is okay.

Thank you!

It's so strange because it happens even when I'm logged in. Hopefully, it's an easy fix and not something that's being caused by something funky going on outside HiveWire's control.

You know, I never noticed, but I'm seeing the same thing in my up-to-date Firefox. I haven't tried it in Opera as I don't use that browser very often.

This is what I see when I'm logged into the HW Forum:

This is what I see when I'm logged into the HW Store when clicking on the Home button, and then the Shop link:

This is what I see when I type the link with the https://

The secure/locked icon is there, but there's a gold warning triangle showing there's a problem. I think the links for the Home and the Shop links need to be changed to https:// instead of http://

Login page is secure, and you can force each store page to be secure by typing https://, but the next page is then not secure again.

If it's not secure from start to finish, it's not secure at all. Going from plain text (http) to secure/encrypted (https) allows a man-in-the-middle attack, in which someone can see everything you type. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of this.

Ah, I see the problem. It is a common one. The message is "Some content on this page is not encrypted, which makes it possible for others to see or change information you share with this site." This usually happens when there are images or links to pages that are not covered by the SSL certificate. It could be promo images, banner images, or links to other sites or to other pages on this site. I made sure that the SSL certificate on my site covers the whole site, not just certain pages. I have no images that are hosted elsewhere.

Perhaps Chris or Lisa should look into this. It may even be just one image that is causing this.

Even when I copied the link to my wishlist and opened that directly in a new tab, I still got that message. That actually scares me a little. I was thinking of making another purchase, but 'tis the season for hackers to steal our info. I'll wait to see what Chris has to say about this. Does he look at these forums, or should I contact him directly?

I wouldn't want your job at all Lisa! So much to do, little details. Hats off to you!

It's good she and Chris have a team here to help with things. I'm a one man show at my site.

We are grateful for our team members for sure. We have a small team and it's a holiday weekend, however, we have resolved this issue.

The login and checkout pages of the site have always been forced through https, however, now the entire site is as well. It IS possible that a page may warn that "some elements of the page are not secure". If that does happen for anyone, if you could let us know we will find and fix the offending image or JavaScript file.

Thanks for reporting your experiences and for your patience while we address them.

Sorry!
Hope I don't bother you but when trying to purchase the Big Cat I got a message that said everything that would be transmitted was not secure. I let it go and that page as well as the shopping cart are secure.
BUT when I want to check out and use the maximum points I get this and can't find a way to make it work.

I'm having the exact same problem, as I'm trying to buy the Big Cat as well.
