Advice on graphics card

A friend has asked about recommendations for a good graphics card for use with Poser Pro 11. She's thinking about a good Nvidea card, but would like to know from someone experienced with the new Poser and those cards. Her current card is acting up, so she is planning on replacing it. Any help on this would be appreciated. I'd like to help her out with this, she's been helpful to me in the past.

The simplest answer is to get the best Nvidia card that she can afford. :) I have a Nvidia 1660 SUPER and it works really fantastic with Poser Pro 11 Superfly. It was the best one I could afford at the time. Onboard VRAM is important for large, complex scenes if that's something she likes to do otherwise focus on the processing power and CUDA cores for fast renders.

I had to get a new laptop the end of last year, and I was thrilled to get an nVidia card again, as my old laptop didn't have one.

Mine has the nVidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GDDR6, and even though I don't do GPU renders when beta testing, I do like it when doing a final render.

When I first got the new laptop, I couldn't use the GPU with P11, mostly because Poser needed to be updated to accept the latest drivers, but that has been done, and it works a charm. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the cost is for just the graphics card, as I bought my laptop at Dell, and I don't think they sell separate parts.
