He was my "hero" when I was at art school back in the early 80s. ("Heroes" is one of my faves of his I loved his flair and style and def loved his discovery of new artists and musicians- a true renaissance man and innovater. And I'll never forget seeing that first ever music video of his on MTV. Brilliant!
