Second skin clothing

Limited maybe, but with the demands of iray rendering, adding some second skin tops, skinny jeans, stockings etc using photoshop to skin textures will help people with 2gb videocard memory (erm...me) fit "clothed" figures in for gpu rendering in Daz Studio. I'm talking Dawn, Genesis 2&3 male and female

I was was thinking of doing some clothing using nodes or shells which also allow for them to be weight mapped. Not on the computer at the moment but I'll post an image of what it can do later.

This image was done using the techniques I was thinking of...still need to work out a few things but I was thinking it would make good clothing...

Just to be fair, geometry doesn't take as much memory footprint as textures, so if you have only 2GB to work with, texture sizes might end up being your main issue in the first place. :)

There is a video by CGBytes that has some info on them iirc...saved the green leafs as a wearable preset and all you have to do is have the figure selected and click. It will automatically add the geoshell and the surface settings...very cool. I can't remember the settings I originally had the butterfly mask on and unfortunately doesn't look like I saved but I think I must have used some bump or displacement, maybe just using the transmap? Have to play some more anyway still very much in the testing phase of what's possible.
