My mother is on her way to Spokane to start the first of 10 consecutive radiation treatments to kill the cancer in her hip bones. She is in lots of pain and painkillers that would floor me are not having much effect on her. But she is still doing her thing.

I was just home with her for 39 days. She had radiation treatments her her hip, and tomorrow she starts radiation for her lungs. Still don't have an improved prognosis, but I am hopeful.
