Ok I don't know that is going on with my daz program. I have all updated drivers and blow the recommended specs out of the water. And for some reason my computer chokes when I try to render in Iray. I am running a EVGA Invidia 970 FWE graphics card 16G ram quad channel, core-i7 quad processor with ivy bridge 4 virtual core so I am technically running an 8 core system.

Roll back your video drivers to 417.xx. The newest driver is borked and will make your renders incredibly slow. I had to do it myself. Right now I'm using 417.22 and rendering nice and fast again ;)

Yes, had quite a few people complain about this issue on FaceBook and the solution is as AllenArt said, to roll back the driver.

If you are using lots of props, buildings and high quality HDRI then your VRAM will fill up quickly and Iray will only use CPU to render, which will takes ages.
